MRICS Building Surveyor

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate must be chartered (MRICS/MCIOB), be a strong report writer and be able to manage their own diary and workload. They must also be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all regulations & legislation affecting the assessment of relevant buildings and ideally have a strong professional services background which includes dilapidations, party wall etc.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity includes undertaking professional work where producing reports and schedules following initial surveys will be needed. The reports will be focused on your findings including recommendations for further invasive investigations or remediation. Client expectations must be managed, and it must be ensured that they are regularly and fully informed with the status of their project. There will also be contract administration embedded in the role which will cover specifying, tendering and administering works, primarily to existing buildings, including project management of works up to circa £2 m.
