Senior / Associate Building Surveyor

M2 Partnership has been directed by one of our clients to recruit for a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor/Associate within their Birmingham team.  Are you really appreciated in your current role? Would you like to progress further in your career? Do you finally want the pay rise that you deserve?

Due to exponential growth, they are seeking a strong Senior BS/Associate to cover a variety of building surveying areas and to facilitate the end-to-end project management on several current and potential projects and are actively hiring now!

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be experienced, efficient and competent in TDD and dilapidations work, be able to pick up and carry out project management instructions with values between £0-£1M, from RIBA stages 1-7 with minimal supervision and have experience in specification writing, contracts administration and have a proven record of proficient project management. They will also have excellent communication skills, be aware of the local market as they will be required to grow a strong network of contracts and business opportunities and have experience working with fund-based clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity includes taking the lead on projects to provide a comprehensive project management service and deliver on client needs. Supporting the building/quantity surveying teams and assist with work in dilapidations, TDD and measured surveys. You will work closely with directors and associates to co-ordinate workload across neighbouring offices. Develop and manage strong stakeholder relationships, as well as win business and provide excellent customer care.
